Boca Raton Florida is a small city in southern Palm Beach County that is only about 1.4 square miles, located just southwest of Lake Worth, adjacent to the John Prince Park. Originally, the area that has become Boca Raton was known as the cattle ranch of Mulberry Farms, which was purchased in 1958 and planned to become the most aesthetic golf and country club in South Florida. The majority of the city of Boca Raton is occupied by the Boca Raton Inn and Golf Club, which contains a state of the art 18-hole championship golf course, and some of the best Palm Beach county real estate. A small portion of Boca Raton was devoted to municipal and commercial development, but by and large, the city has maintained its oasis atmosphere.
